Frequently Asked Questions

We know you’ve got questions. Hopefully we can help answer some of them right now. If you don’t see what you’re looking for, email us at

Do you offer photography as well?

No we don’t. We have always been primarily a video production company which makes us specialized for your wedding day. However, we do work with some of the best photographers in the industry and would be happy to share some of our favorites with you.

Can we choose our own music for the highlight video?

The wedding video industry has changed over the years and with online videos going viral, copyright music has become an issue. Because of that, we purchase royalty-free songs to use for our highlight videos. Don’t worry though, there are websites now that offer quality music. The films you see on this site can give you a sample. We love to hear what your music tastes are like though. That helps us in discerning your style.

I live out of town. How can we have a consultation?

Email is always a great place to start. From there we can arrange a phone consultation or many of our clients have preferred a Skype consult. It’s always great to have a face- to-face chat with 5 seconds of awkward lag time silence.

When can we expect to receive our wedding film?

Our turn-around time is six months on our wedding films. However, well before that time you would receive your highlight video or teaser trailer. Because we put equal amounts of love into each wedding film, it does take time. We try to complete them in the order they were shot, so wedding films shot earlier in the year could be completed sooner than those shot later in the year.

Do you setup shots like a photographer does?

The simple answer is no. A photographer has a shot list to complete and they only have a limited amount of time to do so. Because of that, we don’t want to take anything away from them. However, if the time allows for it and we see an opportunity to setup something fun, we always take it! Our approach when filming weddings is to just take a backseat and capture the day as it unfolds. With that philosophy, our films have a more genuine result.

Who is part of your team?

Limelight Studios has grown since it’s inception. With that growth, the team has grown as well. Our crew is divided into shooters and editors, some taking on both responsibilities. Each wedding day is led by a creative director on location, either Tim Feeny or Daniel Abraham. In any case, your wedding film is held to a consistent high quality standard that Limelight Studios is known for.

Do you do same-day edits?

Same-day edits are not a service we provide. As much as we think they’re a great idea, it’s not something we’re offering at this point. It’s likely in the future, this will change.

Do you have a fax machine?

How can we reserve you for our wedding day?

We have a brief contract we will email you. You can fill out all the info, sign and email it back. A 50% deposit is required and we can discuss which method is best for us both. That’s it, that’s all!
